Overview

RANKAN is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your operational data stays on your devices and is only shared with team members through the local mesh network during active missions.

Data We Collect

• Location Data: Used only for tactical map display and team coordination. Stays on-device and mesh network.
• Voice Communications: Push-to-talk audio is transmitted only to connected team members, not stored on servers.
• Mission Data: Sectors, POIs, and incident logs are stored locally and synced only with connected devices.

Data We Don't Collect

• No cloud accounts required
• No personal information sent to our servers
• No analytics or tracking during operations
• No data retention after mission ends (unless you export it)

Third-Party Services

RANKAN uses Apple MapKit for map tiles. Standard map tile requests may be logged by Apple per their privacy policy. No personally identifiable information is shared with Apple.
